Do you have a child playing a contact sport that needs to protect his private area? If the answer is yes, then you should buy these. It has held up well, wears easily under shorts, and does its job. Shock Doctor is a great brand for protection in contact or semi-contact sports.

I would not recommend these shorts to anyone, the cup simply floats in front of your goods and really does nothing. If you bend over it pushes up into your stomach, if you move it moves, etc. The shorts alone fit great but with a cup they are horrible. Also the seller sent me a USED pair of these which I had to wash then try out. Seller refunded my money but still, that's gross...HIGHLY DO NOT recommend these shorts, buy a jock then compression shorts if your on a budget. I bit the bullet and bought "Diamond MMA - Compression Shorts with Built-in Jock Strap & Athletic Cup" and could not be happier. Spend the extra coin, its your nuts!

I bought this set for sparring in my taekwondo class. Overall, the fit is good, and it's reasonably comfortable. The appearance is most unfortunate... It makes me look a little more excited for sparring than I should be.

Seems to work and fit fine, at least my son hasn’t complained (and he would if it was an issue). My son, who generally doesn’t like elastic against his skin isn’t bothered by this.
