It's got a funny smell
It has a funny smell to it and it's not like the one I get from the store but I still like it and believe it does the intended job for me. I will say that I like the texture of this one compared to the one I get from the store. Overall it's a good product but scent caused it a star.

Color doesn't match
I agree with several others. The product color on amazon did not match what I received in the mail. It is just OK but I could have gotten what I received at any hair supply store. What I wanted was the lighter version (old school), which is not as heavy on my hair. I tried this one because the other one was $14+ per jar. Looks like I will just have to suck it up and get the $14 jar, and hope that THIS time the product matches the picture.

Light without a strong scent
A nice moisturizer without being heavy on the hair. No heavy scent. I've used this product for years. Strong recommendation.
