My son is a short 6 yrs old and he has grown out of this very quickly. I think it will suitable. It was a great scooter between 3-8 years as he was quite short in height for his age.

Q: Is it easy to maintain balance?

Definitely. Balance is not an issue. The technique required to move the fliker is to keep both feet on the platforms and learn to move your body from side to side to make it move. It’s robust too so doesn’t topple over easily. My granddaughter is 4 years old and loves it. It has taken her a little while to get the sideways motion but she’s getting there. Hope this helps.
