GOOD ‘N’ TASTY SOFT AND CRUNCHY VARIETY PACK, 3 OUNCES, TREATS FOR DOGS

This is the second time I have ordered these recently. We had three doggies for the weekend, including our own. These three are a wild bunch and they love a good snack after running and playing. These are loved by all three of them. They are crunchy with a soft inside. They only take a few minutes to devour. They would eat the whole bag if I let them. The duck flavored one has red dye #40 and I don't know if it has any effect on pets. The other two flavors have cochineal extract and I only know the origins of it and not any effects on pets. I haven't heard of any side effects on pets, so I will keep occasionally buying these for them. Other than that, they appear to be good quality treats and no issues with anything.

My dog absolutely loves the treats. I appreciate that they are a good source of protein for him and he loves the taste and always looks for more. The only drawback is that once opened, if they don’t get eaten up within a week or so, they get pretty hard. He will still eat them but they need more of the packets in them to keep them fresh and softer.

My friends dog just loves the kabobs but never eats the stick so I bought these and he won’t leave me alone when he comes to visit. He asks for more and more treats

I started with the kabobs, which my dog absolutely loves. So glad I purchased the kabob bites as well. I was able to train my dog with these bites because she will do almost anything for these tasty treats.

TLDR - If you can buy these direct from the store, that's your best bet for a fresh batch and this is a great product, otherwise you will get a stale/hard item from Amazon 75% of the time.My dog loves the bones with these on it but I don't like her eating too many of the rawhide part so I've tried to switch to these. Sometimes they arrive as intended by the manufacturer - soft and chewy, able to distinguish between the three "flavors" by the color. Other times (and unfortunately, as of late, more often than not) you get stale hard as rocks bites. I'm talking so hard I've broken knives trying to cut them apart. I couldn't, in good conscience, give them do my dog as she would absolutely break a tooth. I couldn't return them because I had opened them so in order to "revive" them, I had to soak them in water. Even after FIVE DAYS they were still barely soft. Hopefully the company stops allowing the seller who is purchasing stale/expired dog treats from providing them for this platform.I would suggest filtering reviews by "most recent" and seeing if other buyers have been reporting them stale more recently as that will show you they got a bad batch.

My dog loves these! They are great because they don't have the rawhide stick and they are small. Perfect size for my Schweenie.
