This is (sort of) my fourth try at getting one of these things. The first one, although it worked ok, I had to get up and switch manually, which is fine, I used it for a while but it only had 2 inputs and I now need three. Got one half moon shaped one that just didn't work at all, a blank screen. Presumed I'd got the wrong thing and ordered a 4K version instead, which did the same thing. Fine on the Xbox title screens, didn't work when console switches to HD, blank screen.This one not only works perfectly, but automatically switches over too, so great. Note though, the Xbox takes longer to turn off than other devices, so if going from that to another input, you may either have to wait longer before changing inputs or press the button. 👍I believe it's because this one supports 60 Hz is it? Not sure... just pleased I've finally got what I needed.

Running out of HDMI ports, and need a switch that’s fairly cheap.. if your tv limited to 60hz @4K, I would recommend this unit..Comes with 3 input hdmi ports that switch and 1 output hdmi port..Does not require any power..Easy to install..Has a switch on the top of the unit to select the port to use and can confirm that it will allow the signal to go through to switch the device on.. although this only seams to work with the device the unit is switched too.It allows 4K@60hz and HDR as confirmed on a nvidia shield TVSo if your looking for a cheap switch to free those ports up for your new Console etc.. this could be a good choice, until HDMI 2.1 switches start to be mass produced..I would recommend 👍

The media could not be loaded. I have a Samsung smart TV 2014 model 4k with 3D and it only had 1 4K HDMI port I wanted to be able to use Virgin 4k V6 box and a 4k fire stick I purchased this little box as the reviews were good good and it was voted number one on YouTube I was going to purchase a much more expensive one as did not think this would work as good and being so cheap I thought the picture quality for 4K would not be good but how I was so wrong plug and play so easy I have my4k Virgin V6 box and my 4k fire stick plugged into this little box and the picture quality is amazing both worked fine and both in full 4k I'm a very happy person and I highly recommend this little box check out my photos thank you seller 👍

Great piece of kit. I have noticed though that my PS4 seems to flick in and out of game mode since using this. Also, Cold War sometimes drops to 30fps and can be laggy on my series x but I cannot confirm that it is this device at fault.**UPDATEI can confirm that the series x lagging issue was in fact the game itself and has been fixed with a patch. I did have issues trying to play a UHD 4K blu ray. I got a message saying that my device does not support HDCP. I contacted support and they were super helpful. It was advised that I try to reconnect my cables (and a couple of other things if this did not work). I can confirm that after reconnecting all cables, the device is working perfectly so thank you for your support. I believe it was an issue with my TV HDMI port and not this device.Overall, this is a great bit of kit and i would certainly recommend it.

If you want a simple splitter that doesn't require an external power unit and produces a high-quality image this is the one. Picture is crisp and fast and unaffected. I can now simply flick between my PS5 and Mac. No issues after using it for a month and the build quality seems really good.

I was getting a strange not very loud but audible enough to be annoying popping sound from the speakers when one of the monitors connected to this was going to sleep. Honestly I have spend hours and hours trying to figure out why. It was driving me mental, was plugging things in different sockets, changing cables etc. but just a few days ago as I was browsing amazon I saw similar products with the option to power them up and the suspicion that the HDMI switch might be the issue came to me. I bought one that is even cheaper than this and even thought I do not need to power it after all my problem has disappeared! I wish I thought of this earlier!

Bought this to connect an XBox 360 and a PlayStation 4 to one HDMI port on my TV. Unfortunately when either one was selected the picture and sound would drop out after a few seconds, and the switch would seem to search for a picture and go on and off repeatedly. It seems these devices lack enough power through their HDMI outputs to drive the switch as it has no external power supply. I tried it with my FrreSat box and my DVD player and these seemed to work OK, but I think I lost some picture quality. I'm now buying an HDMI switch with a usb power input instead.UPDATE: After leaving this review the seller/manufacturer XCHOnline contacted me through Amazon with some suggestions to 1) use a good quality HDMI 2.0 cable and 2) ensure that all devices connected we're powered on. The latter was not practical for me but I contacted them to give feedback and they then offered me a full refund with no need to return the device. I have now upped the star rating to 4 stars for the seller's excellent customer service. Thank you.
