I am just getting into speedcubing, and this is my first speedcube. There are a lot of different suggestions as to what is the best cube on the market, and I was really confused about what cube would work for me. If you are also feeling overwhelmed in the research process of trying to find a great cube for a great price, BUY THIS ONE!!I think that overall, this is one of the best quality beginner cubes regardless of the price, and is also a cube that can grow with you through different modifications. If you are more advanced, I think that this cube is still a must-have in any collection, especially for the price. It works as a great practice cube if you have a more expensive cube that you don't want to use all the time, or as a cube that you can build off of.Obviously, any speed cube is already an upgrade from a Rubik's brand cube, and I expected this cube to be immediately better than the Rubik's cube I already have. But WOW is there a difference. It is like night and day. I literally can't even believe I was using the Rubik's cube before. This cube turns smoothly and moves fast. The cube is also really flexible and corner cuts so well. The layers really snap into place, and overall make solving a much easier process. I really like that you can adjust the cube to your own preferences, and the tools included in the box make this super easy.One side note that I see a lot of people talking about within the reviews is the slight spring noise you get when turning sometimes. I definitely can hear the noise in my cube sometimes when I turn some layers really slow, but when doing fast algorithms or different combinations at a high speed I can hardly hear it. If you know that this is something that is going to bother you, then I would maybe be wary of buying this cube. But, I have heard that there are some solutions to at least quieting the noise. For this being the only downside to such an amazing cube, I think it might be something you should look past.Overall, this cube absolutely lives up to all of the hype surrounding it. From beginner to advanced cuber, this is a must-have for its price!

moving up from a Rubik's cube, this is an affordable, excellent cube. The plastic texture is excellent, the colors of the sides pop and it looks so satisfying once you've completed it.I've had this now for about a year with pretty casual use (I will solve it a few times a day and then let it sit for a few weeks) and I definitely don't get too aggressive with it. It has loosened up a little and gotten noisier but it's still quieter than a Rubik's cube and it still feels great to turn. The colors still pop and the texture has 'glossed' a bit but it isn't slippery or harder to handle.Recommend if you're at all insterested in cubing/need something engaging to fidget with.

The Moyu RS3M is amazing for the price. Great smooth turning, especially for a budget cube. I would recommend putting lube in it, as out of the box it does feel a little bit dry. There’s a bit of crunchiness when you turn really fast. I don’t really know if I like this or not. For your 13 dollars, you get the cube, a screwdriver for tensioning, a little twisty thing to change the spring compression, and a nice little stand. For a budget cube, there are a lot of customization options. When you get the cube out of the box, you may notice a pretty bad spring noise. To fix this you have to lube the core. First, you should use the screwdriver you got to unscrew the screw all the way, so it comes out of the cube. Next put some lube (I suggest lubicle black) around the little washer and the bottom of the screw. (Do not use water based lube, as this may cause rusting problems) screw it all back in and repeat for each side. It might be easier to watch a video for this, as it does get a little bit complicated. Overall, this is a great cube. I would definitely recommend this, whether you are a beginner who just learned how to solve the cube, to a seasoned speedcuber.

I own a Gan 356 RS, 356 M, and 356 XS, and in my mind the RS3 M outperforms any of my Gan cubes. Out of the box, the smoothness of the cube is outstanding. Add a drop or two of your favorite lube (I prefer speedy to add a bit of smoothness and speed, and DNM-37 if I'm really feeling edgy), and strap yourself in.The cube itself is actually pretty heavy in comparison to the Gan cubes, but I actually quite like this. It gives the turns a more solid feel and the magnet strength is perfect for the weight. Turns and corner cutting are absolutely spot on, and I find it super easy to run through algs with speed and accuracy.If you're looking for a quality, quality cube at a fraction of the price, your search is over.

It has lasted me for a couple of years now and it still feels really good. Very good build quality. Since the cube is lubed, it doesn't encounter much friction and the colours haven't really worn off. Really good buy compared to Swap Meet Rubik's cubes because those want to break each time you make a turn and they are slower. This cube can be very fast.

I had another speed cube from a few years ago (don't remember the name anymore) that I paid around $10 too. This one is noticeably better. Turns are smooth and crisp. Last one didn't have magnets but this one does and it has a nice feel to it. The other one would fall apart if you took the turns at big angles. So far this one doesn't have that problem. Build quality is good and what you would mostly expect for the price. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a first cube or anyone wanting a cheap upgrade from the name brand Rubik's cube.
