Iron tastes bad. There’s no way around it. I mix it with juice. I’ve been taking this on and off for years. I’ve suffered from anemia, this has helped with my lack of energy. I really do feel more energized on the days I take this in the morning versus the days I don’t. I pour it into a glass and then pour some OJ over. Just enough to shoot it. Take it like a tequila shot. The best part of this is no constipation. A lot of times the pill supplement causes constipation which is why I never wanted to take that. This doesn’t have that side effect. It’s worth trying if you suffer from anemia. Honestly, I haven’t been anemic in a long while but I still take it for the energy boost.

I have used this iron supplement off an on for 12 years and I have not had an iron supplement that made any changes until I started using this one. I used to feel really weak running, or while running on the treadmill and weak especially around that time of month. It helped me power through my workouts and it helps with hair loss and migraines as well. Most menstruating women and athletes could use more iron and this is a nice gentle kind which is easily absorbable and helps right away. I have been recommending it to friends for years. I wish they offered two for one deals more often though.

My absolute favorite way to get my iron in. I’m always anemic lol more so while and after having my little one. The pills made me so very sick with stomach pains and this has NEVER caused me any issues at all. I started taking this with orange juice just a few months before the birth of my son and my blood work became wonderful! I continue to buy this and probably always will! I heard they make apple flavored ones in Canada though and hard to find here in the US. It makes me a little sad lol but still… this stuff is great!

I ordered this because I have trouble maintaining my iron stores. I have several types of autoimmune issues. I tried this, and feel like I get a little boost of energy right after I take it. It doesn't taste good. Kind of a watery metallic taste but nothing that stops me drinking it right from the pack.

I read in many reviews about this having a bad taste...I can handle bad tastes, so wasn't especially worried. It's kind of a big DUH! but this is like drinking bloody water. Not that I've drunk bloody water before, but this is really a trip. It looks and has the viscosity of water. But it has a VERY STRONG flavor of iron, aka blood. And if you spill it on your clothes, your clothes will smell strongly of blood. Your lips will smell strongly of blood. I work in health care, and am quite familiar with blood, and am not keen on imbibing it.That said...I forced myself, and this DOES work well in terms of absorbency and without any GI effects. If it didn't work, I'd give it a 1 star for taste. Oof.

I've been anemic my whole life and I've struggled to find a proper iron supplement that didn't bung one up and that actually really made a difference with my levels of fatigue. This is it. It is so easy to take and the taste isn't horrific. It is a little pricier than some other iron, but if you have to take it regularly, this is a great option.
