This is straightforward, cheap, and does just what I needed.We got a Nintendo Switch for Christmas, but our Samsung TV didn't have enough HDMI sockets to connect it (alongside the Playstation, Sky Q box, and sound system!). I connected both Playstation and Switch to one socket using this HDMI switch, and it works fine. If only one of the devices is turned on it automatically switches to that input. If both are on, then it's easy to press the button on the HDMI device to switch between them. It was cheap enough, arrived quickly, and just what we needed.

I use it so that two devices can share a screen. When one device turns on or off, it automatically knows to switch to the other one. There's also a button to switch manually.

The media could not be loaded. I have plugged on my TV HDMI port and connected another two devices on it and it doesn't work as described in the product description. I cant get the devices connected to it to work. It flicks the image of the PS5 for a few seconds and then stops. Giving one star because I can't leave the rating blank.

You know what to expect from Amazon Basics kit normally, cheap, cheerful, does the job - and that's exactly the case with this. In fact it does the job way better than it should for the price, easily splitting a HDMI port into three inputs that auto-sense depending on what's plugged into 'em (for me I've got three games consoles plugged into one port and don't even need to use the manual switch to scan between them, the cable just switches automatically).A lot of modern TVs seem to have started only having one or two HDMI ports on and if you're an avid gamer with more than one console, or a fire stick or other things plugged in, you're definitely going to need one of these. Superb purchase, highly recommended.

No issue with it

Our new Smart TV has 2 HDMI ports and this simple to use splitter allows one socket to be converted into 3 HDMI sockets. Simply plug into the TV and the plug up to 3 HMDI input leads into the splitter and you can quickly and easily toggle between the 3 inputs via a small selector button on the splitter. Superb!

I had another one of these switches that was about 8 years old go bad, so replaced it with this one and it works just fine and picture quality is great.

La cosa più comoda è che fa lo switch da solo al primo dispositivo che si accende, poi ovviamente se si accende anche l’altro allora bisogna premere il pulsante per cambiare l’ingresso, ma se come me praticamente accendete solo un dispositivo alla volta lui lascia passare automaticamente quello che avete acceso per primo
