Easy installation, I have no neutral for the switch so I added the included capacitor on the light itself. Downloaded the app, added the password for WiFi and linked with Google Home - everything worked great, no issues. I like that the switches have faint red light when turned off so you can see them in the dark, but are not too bright.

I can’t fault this as it was easy to install and very easy to set up with Alexa. Some reviews report flickering but I’ve had no such problems. The supplied capacitor need to connect across the light fitting so you need to access two locations - the light fitting and the light switch. I connected mine across my main light which is five 11w, CCFL bulbs. As these fail I will replace these with LED ones and I am hoping that I don’t see problems. However for now it’s a great product - shame to see the price has been hiked by £3 since I last bought it and that is now £19.99Jan 2024 update. I bought some new LED light bulbs which are faulty as when you switch them on they trip the 5A circuit breaker on the house wiring. However this breaker doesn’t trip fast enough to prevent the light switch from being damaged and it now no longer works. I took it apart and the Triacs (electronic relays) have nothing to turn off the Triac if an excess current flows through them so any serious fault on the lighting circuit will cause the Smart switch to fail. This isn’t unsafe in my opinion but it means you haven’t got the same robustness that mechanical light switch offers.

This switch works very well, using the Smarter Things App, and in turn, with Alexa, although I know it’s compatible with all other Smart Assistants. It comes with a capacitor to connect in your light fixture, but I have installed two of these switches, and have not used the capacitor, as I suspect this may have been something that was required when lighting wasn’t all LED based. Either way, I have not had any issues with flickering, or anything else, so I am leaving my install as is for the moment. This is a WiFi based connection, so no hub (such as a Zigbee hub) is required, and no neutral connection is needed either, which made installation easy. The only issue I frequently find with these smart switches and sockets, is that they tend to have large modules that can be a pain to fit into the original back boxes the old switch has come from. This is not usually too much of a hassle to replace the back box with a deeper one, but sometimes this can’t be done due to the paper-thin dividing walls frequently found in newer homes. This is the reason I give this switch four out of five stars, because to accommodate the new switch, I regularly have to use two spacers stacked on top of one another, and 40mm 3.5M screws, to secure it all to the wall, essentially making it stick out of the wall rather than being a flush fit, but it’s safe, and looks ok, but bear in mind, this might be something you might need to do. I also have less drop out issues with WiFi based switches than those that depend on a hub, and find that when I set up a WiFi switch, it’s pretty much a one time affair, and will work as it should every time, whereas a hub-based system often needs to be switched on and off again, or uninstalled from the hub and reinstalled, but that’s just something that may happen to me, and I could be the one at fault. If you’re after a flush fit finish, remember the module is large, and requires a deep back box, but if you’re ok with spacers, it’s a good bit of kit, and after all, how much time do you really devote to looking at light switches?

This switch has a bug that means after a few months it no longer connects to the WiFi

Bought so my partially sighted, disabled mother could operate her lights with Alexa. Electrician friend fitted it and said it just needed a deeper box so it sticks out a tiny bit further than a normal light switch but no problem, looks great.Took 5 mins to download app, connect to Wifi and then to Alexa. Worked first time, easy to do with limited tech skills. Followed advice of another reviewer and had Wifi info to hand to input manually but didn't need it as the app found the wifi and the switch.Very pleased.

Garbage. Looks pretty and works well for a while but within 8 hours of fitting it, it has rebooted itself twice, or something to that effect. When it does this, it loses connection to everything and all the programming I spent ages doing in the app has to be done again from scratch. You have to pair the thing back to the WiFi and start over.Update: after 6 days of fiddling I have pinned the fault down to when someone touches the panel with more than one finger at a time. Have had some back and forth with the seller who are sending me a replacement. Fingers crossed for the second one. Such a shame because this is a great product when it works. Updated to 3 stars purely for the customer service.Absolutely pointless. Will be putting my old switch back on in the morning. Total waste of money.

Had my reservations when ordering due to previous order with a faulty unit. This product however has meet all my requirements. Build quality much better then other, installation was very straight forward and connected first time to my WiFi. The app was easy to navigate and set the timers. Paired with my alexa with no problems. Very happy and looking at adding more throughout my home. Highly recommended!

Cet interrupteur connecté devait être livré entre le 16 et le 22. En fait il est arrivé le 13. Super!Notice de montage en Anglais: pas top.Erreur dans la notice : "Montage sans fil neutre" - la première phrase commence par "Brancher la ligne L1 au neutre. En fait il faut lire : "Brancher L1 à la première ampoule et L2 à la seconde", la ligne L doit être raccordée à la phase principale.Je ne sais pas si le condensateur sert à quelque chose. Je l'ai mis sur L1 mais rien sur L2 et tout fonctionne très bien.Au niveau de la connexion: SMARTLIFE (TUYASMART marche aussi) la reconnaissance a du mal à s'établir. En fait c'est AMAZON Alexa qui les découvre en premier.Attention il en trouve 3 : SWITCH2, Switch1 et Switch2 (Attention aux majuscules) Croyant que SWITCH2 ne servait à rien, je l'ai supprimé, mais cela a supprimé les 2 autres aussi, d'où la nécessité de refaire toute la procédure de reconnaissance et de connexion à SMARTLIFE et Alexa.La taille du réceptacle mural de l'interrupteur est très limitée: le condensateur n'arrivait pas à entrer. J'ai dû faire un trou sur le côté pour le condensateur afin que tout le reste puisse rentrer.Sinon, fonctionnement au top, reconnaissance immédiate par Alexa, commande vocale sans problème. Ce qui justifie mes 5 étoiles.

Nach langer Zeit habe ich mich entschieden mal wieder eine Rezension zu schreiben.Zunächst mal traf der Artikel viel früher ein als angegeben. Das war schon mal sehr erfreulich.Der Schalter ist in einer geeigneten Verpackung, eine bebilderte Anleitung liegt bei, ein Kondensator für eine etwaige Installationsart ebenso, und die Frontplatte aus Glas ist mit einer Schutzfolie versehen. Auch das sieht also sehr gut aus.Nun zur Installation.Ja, und da scheiden sich wohl die Geister.Die elektrische Installation sollte unbedingt von einem Fachmann vorgenommen werden, oder zumindest dabei sein und/oder befragt werden. Da ich ein solcher Fachmann bin stellte das kein Problem dar.Ich rate nochmals dringend, vor Verwendung des Kondensators unbedingt einen Fachmann hinzu zu ziehen!Bei mir ist die Verwendung des Kondensators sowieso nicht möglich, deshalb werde ich auf diese Installationsart nicht weiter eingehen.Wenn also kein Neutralleiter an der Stelle des Schalters liegt (kommt meistens nur vor, wenn eine Schalter-Steckdosen Kombi installiert ist) muss einer installiert werden. Dies habe ich dann getan (während meine Frau außer Haus war, dafür musste ich nämlich zwei Paneelen von der Küchenwand entfernen) und konnte mich endlich an die Installation des neuen Schalters machen.Also erst die entsprechende Sicherung ausschalten und dann los. Als der alte Serienschalter nun weg war und zusätzlich ein Neutralleiter in die Hohlraumdose gelegt wurde, habe ich den Schalter wie beschrieben angeschlossen und erst einmal wieder die Sicherung eingeschaltet, um zu testen ob alles überhaupt so funktioniert wie ich möchte, bevor ich dann die mechanische Installation vornehme.Sobald die Sicherung wieder ein war, begann das Wi-Fi-Symbol am Schalter langsam zu blinken. Die Touch-Funktion funktionierte schonmal einwandfrei für beide Endverbraucher.Zur Einbindung ins W-LAN.Dazu benötigt man die Smart Life App und ein Smart Life Konto (kostenlos!). Da ich schon einige Geräte über Smart Life eingebunden habe, gehe ich auf die Installation der App nicht weiter ein.Nun den Schalter für ca. 5 Sek. gedrückt halten, bis das Wi-Fi-Symbol schnell blinkt.Sollte die automatische Suche mit der App nicht funktionieren, dann muss man bei manueller Installation "Leistungsschalter (Wi-Fi)" auswählen und der Anleitung folgen. Dies hat bei mir problemlos funktioniert.Will man das Gerät dann über Alexa steuern, muss man erst den Smart Life Skill aktivieren und das Smart Life Konto mit Alexa verknüpfen. Auch hier gehe ich nicht weiter drauf ein, da es dazu genügend Anleitungen im Internet gibt.So, alles funktioniert und lässt sich auch über Alexa per Sprachbefehl steuern. Nun kann der Schalter in die Wand und zum Schluss die Glasplatte drauf.Wie erwähnt habe ich eine Hohlraumdose wo der Schalter hin soll und dahinter glücklicherweise etwas Luft wo ich das Kabel etwas hinschieben konnte, da der Schalter schon viel Platz einnimmt in der Dose, und es wohl etwas zu eng wird, wenn man hinter der Dose keinen Platz mehr hat. Da dies aber bei anderen Wi-Fi Schaltern häufig nicht anders ist, gibt es dafür keinen Punktabzug.Den Schalter habe ich dann in der Hohlraumdose befestigt und die Glasplatte drauf geklickt - was ein ganz schönes Gefummel war. Nachdem ich nun die vorher natürlich abgeschaltete Sicherung wieder eingeschaltet hatte war eine Seite des Schalters ein und die andere Seite aus, es gab keine Reaktion auf Berührung und das Wi-Fi-Symbol war nicht zu sehen. Mist! was nun? Hat doch eben noch alles funktioniert?!Vielleicht ist irgendwas abgegangen bei der mechanischen Installation?Also erst mal wieder die Glasfront abmachen - und das ist noch mehr Gefummel als das draufmachen...Als ich es dann endlich geschafft hatte, ohne etwas kaputt zu machen, die Glasplatte zu lösen, funktionierte alles wieder?!? Das Problem könnte irgendwie mit der Glasfront zusammen hängen...Nach langem Hin und Her konnte ich herausfinden, dass meine Hohlraumdose wohl etwas zu tief in der Wand sitzt, und dadurch auch der Schalter, so dass die Glasplatte dann, wenn sie eingerastet ist, dauerhaft Druck auf die Touch-Schalter ausübt.Nach einigen mechanischen Veränderungen konnte ich den Schalter dann so befestigen, dass er noch etwa 1 mm Luft bis zur Wand hat.Auch wenn der Schalter nix dafür kann - hier gibt es für den ganzen Stress definitiv einen Stern Abzug!So! Gerade noch rechtzeitig, da nun meine Frau wieder nach Hause kam.Dann wollte ich natürlich sofort vorführen, was ich Tolles gemacht habe in der Zeit als sie weg war und habe schnell die Glasfront auf den Schalter gemacht - hatte ich zumindest gedacht. Leider habe ich nicht darauf geachtet, dass die Glasplatte richtig eingerastet war...Das Ergebnis:Die Glasplatte ist auf die Küchenfliesen gefallen.Obwohl ich die Schutzfolie schon entfernt hatte flogen keine Glassplitter durch die Küche, gute Beschichtung also.Aber was nun?Ich wollte doch nicht den alten Schalter wieder einbauen, zumal endlich alles funktioniert und es nur wie ein Spider-Design aussieht. Meine Frau konnte ich damit aber nicht wirklich überzeugen...In meiner Verzweiflung habe ich den Verkäufer angeschrieben und ihm mein Missgeschick erklärt.Gleichzeitig habe ich gefragt ob es möglich sei, nur ein Glasfront bei ihm käuflich zu erwerben.Die völlig überraschende Antwort des Verkäufers war, dass es ihm leid täte was mir passiert ist und er mir kostenlos eine solche Glasplatte zusenden wird.Da war ich baff...Und bin es noch. An dieser Stelle noch einmal herzlichen Dank an den Verkäufer Yagusmart!Heute ist die neue Glasplatte angekommen, ich habe sie RICHTIG installiert - und nun sind alle glücklich, auch meine Frau.Hierfür gibt es jetzt wieder zwei Sterne plus, aber sechs Sterne geht ja nicht...!PS:Der Artikel wird, im Vergleich zu anderen Serienschaltern mit Alexa-Kompatibilität, zum tiefsten Preis bei amazon angeboten!Man sollte hier also keine Vergleiche mit 70,- € und mehr Schaltern ziehen. Für das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis würde es noch einen Stern geben...!

Schalter funktioniert einwandfrei. Ein Kondensator gegen das LED blinken ist dabei. Anschluss funktioniert recht einfach. Schalter wird nur über Bohrlöcher befestigt. Leider ist der Schalter zu groß für unsere vorhandenen Hohldosen. Das sollte man vorab prüfen. So muss ich diesen tollen Schalter leider zurück senden.

Facile à installer et à configurer.Immédiatement reconnu par mon environnement Alexa : cela permet de commander les 2 lampes individuellement ou ensemble.J'ai installé cet interrupteur dans la cuisine avec des ampoules led très puissantes. A présent je sélectionne l'endroit que je veux éclairer.Il faut impérativement raccorder le petit condensateur sur chacune des lampes sinon elles clignotent en permanence.Il n'y avait qu'un condensateur pour deux ampoules, j'en ai fait la remarque au vendeur qui m'a immédiatement envoyé le manquant.Vendeur Très professionnel et courtois.Je suis très content de mon achat j'en ai donc racheté un second pour mon salon.

Très compliqué de trouver un interrupteur domotique WiFi et sans fil neutre comme celui là:- Wifi pour ne pas avoir besoin d'une autre box qui pilote encore un autre protocole- Parce que les interrupteurs Zigbee ou ZWave fonctionnent sur pile (qui se vident à un moment ou un autre, et comme on a oublié ce détail on se demande ce qui se passe), alors que les Wifi sont alimentés secteur- SANS FIL NEUTRE : la plupart des cablages francais existant sont de type 'arrivée à la lampe , au plafond, et de là 1 fil phase vers l'interrupteur, et retour de la phase vers la lampe' = pas de neutre à l'interrupteur, qui est pourtant nécessaire à l'alim secteur du module Wifi justement.Seul petit bémol de cet interrupteur : quand on appuie simultanement sur les 2 interrupteurs (probablement différent sur la version 1 seul int.) il se réinitialise et perd la connexion réseau. Et ça arrive souvent de façon inopiné en posant la main dessus au lieu d'un doigt = il faut le reconnecter à nouveau avec l'appli SmartLife.
