A better design than the original.
The media could not be loaded. The original whirlpool design was just a flat plate with a rounded part that the belt would pull against, over the years it’s worn down that metal and now it is basically a squealing nightmare that makes so much noise, after replacing the pulley and the belt and two other bearings, the machine is basically as good as new and back to being quiet no more squealing whenever you need to dry your clothes.

Easy replacement for original part. It appears my previous part was bent and was not turning freely causing a loud squeak. New part worked exactly as the original.

Works good easy to install
This was a replacement part for an old dryer. Much different then original as original, the belt just rubbed on a curved piece of metal and eventually rub thru it and broke the belt. So I got this replacement because it's a wheel instead. Works very good and is quiet. Just make sure you oil it before installing. I recommend 3 in 1 oil. Didn't oil the 1st one I installed and it started squeaky and grinding after a few months. Price is good for 10 bucks.

Not even close to OEM standards
I was drawn in by the price, but left flat with the quality. Held side by side with an OEM idler pulley and the difference becomes very apparent. The idler once installed actually comes in contact with the motor pully making quite a racket. I normally have very good results using Blue Stars parts. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time. Now I have to order idler pulleys from Whirlpool directly and have to two trip a service call that should've been completed in one. Needless to say, any money I might have saved going cheap has ended up costing me money. Thankfully I have an understanding customer. BTW, I have 49 years in the appliance repair business so you can believe what I've said.
