So yeah you get what you pay for. Totally fine screws but they're not straight. As long as you use them in spots where you have enough clearance that's not a real problem, but if you have one of these annoying places where you shouldnt put a screw because its too thin - yet you have to because you don't haver a choice - these screws will likely poke out as none of them are really straight

while building a deck i experienced something you might want to know. 2 1/2 inch screws work just fine for interior screwing down planks but you'll need 3 inch screws for screwing down plank ends (where warping will be the worst) and for those interior places where vertical warping makes a plank bow away from the support. longer screws seem to have more traction when screwed into the supporting joists and can exert more force to enable "sucking down" the bow of the plank, making for a flatter deck. you'll probably need 10% 3 inch screws and 90% 2 1/2 inch screws.

I bought these to replace my apartment door screws, they are 1" and recently someone broke into several units that had those using a crowbar. I talked to the building management and they agreed that I could use them. I can tell this are sturdy, come all in a box and were a great buy. I searched around, even at local hardware stores and the price was better here.

WHile the price is a bit too much compared to the hardware store, they get the job done. The stores have been out of this size and we needed it to repair our fence. Just glad that they had what we needed on amazon.
