ARK's Krypto-Bite XT Chewable Gem Necklace Chew Jewelry (Extra Tough, Teal)

This teal one is the perfect mid between the hard purple and the super squishy magenta. My daughter got this one last September right before our cross country move from California to Kentucky and it lasted just about a year before showing wear. She favors this one over the others and she wears it constantly. I know it's not recommend to leave it on all the time but for her it's necessary. I shorted the string so it doesn't hang and touch things while she is out or become a choking hazard while playing and I tie the knots on both sides to keep it centered so the weight of it keeps it from moving around and her chewing the safety clasp. The clasp on the first crystal was completely destroyed in just a few days from her chewing it since the crystal would migrate to the back and float around and after being chewed up it didn't work to keep it secure so I had to keep it knotted in the back so it wouldn't fall off. The side knots work great for keeping it centered though. She's had this new one for about a month now and with making the side knots she hasn't tried to bite the plastic and she can use it as a safety clasp. I don't know why the newer one is smaller, maybe from her just chewing so much on the first one and it's full of drool lol Im not sure but it's still great. ARK is by far our favorite brand for our sensory seeking just turned 5 yo daughter and this crystal shaped one is cute enough to look like just a fun necklace and not a chew toy on a string that looks like a giant teether. We have tried a few different reputable companies for oral chewers and this one is awesome.

My kindergartner loves to chew and without anything she’ll wear her fingernails down right quick. We had some others from another brand that were also softer material, and the entire ten pack was obliterated within a couple months. Went with the XT which seems like a good mix between softness and toughness. It’s long too so she’ll just chew on it all day with those back teeth, no problem

So far so good, actually purchased a second. This company was recommended to us by our speech and physical therapist. I am very happy with the quality. Son is 3 and this is the perfect size for him to chew using his back teeth and not choke himself.

I love this so much. I am a 28 year old who is not diagnosed with any kind of oral sensory needs, but I do have diagnosed anxiety which results in biting my nails, skin picking, peeling nail polish, chewing a blanket if its available. Now that I am starting graduate school, I needed a more sociably acceptable way to manage my nerves and this hit the spot. I chew on it when driving. It is recommended to put in your back teeth, but as a nail biter I find it most effective in the front, especially when rubbed against the angled/pointed tip. I have already bitten a small hole in it once, but it is not noticeable. I will say this necklace was larger than I thought it would, so though you can hide it in your shirt - it is pretty noticeable when chewing - about the length of my ring finger. The only thing I would change is the firmness level I ordered, but that was because I didn't know what to look for. Strong product. No weird taste. Color is accurate. Would buy again and have already recommended it to friends.

The media could not be loaded. I love it. It's the right kind of chewy and fits nicely in my mouth. No taste or smell. So far so good. I will say though, it's LOUD. It squeaks no matter which way I chew it pretty much and everyone around you will hear it. It's so loud that I can't watch tv while I chew because I can't hear it.

My mom is in a memory home and has been non-stop chewing on everything, including her own hands. We have bought numerous 'chewable' necklaces for her, but they were graded for children with sensory issues and she quickly bit through them. So far this XT grade necklace has been standing up to her hardcore chewing, so I'm hoping it lasts a LONG time

The OT at our building recommended this brand and style. It is safe and OT approved. Would recommend for any child or student that needs this support in and out of the classroom. I tied a knot on the bottom by the gem so it would not move around on the necklace - this is helpful for those who would be distracted by moving it on the string. Great product!

I'm 25 years old and tend to eat my feelings. I haven't snacked once with this thing around. I barely felt hungry when my fiance wanted to go get lunch, though I ate without difficulty - doesn't make me lose my appetite, just suppresses it. Looks like I just want stuff in my mouth, not necessarily food.One good thing I noticed - my teeth are jacked up real bad, my molars don't line up and neither do my front teeth, top and bottom. But it's still really easy to chew on and doesn't hurt my teeth. I can grind my canines against it and it hasn't punctured yet (though I'm not being super forceful). It does occasionally make a squeaking sound if I rub my teeth on it wrong, but it's not that bad.
