Swing Easy [VINYL]

Beware this is only a 10" album with just 8 tracks. I must admit when I ordered I thought to myself why the low price. Was minded to return it. However having played it the pressing is extremely good on a quiet surface. The sticker on the cellophane wrapping says download voucher included. This is missing. Not a not a great problem as the album with all 12 tracks can be downloaded onto Amazon Player if you are a prime member.Every track on the vinyl record is good and features Sinatra with Nelson Riddle on his second album for Capital. It will be extremely difficult to source a 12" version .The only version I am aware of is the Mobile Fidelity record that was issued with their 1983 Sinatra Boxset but this was never available seperately. This had Swing Easy with the same 8 tracks on the A side and Songs For Young Lovers on the other.No one in their right mind is going to split the set which is a definite collectors item and in good condition worth several hundred pounds.Amazon should clearly indicate this is a 10" disc which is not everyone cup of tea as they can be somewhat difficult to remove from the turntable.

As the other reviewer said, there is no voucher code, despite the sticker saying there is. Musically, however, this is Sinatra and Riddle at their early best. It gets better, but not by a lot

First came In the Wee Small Hours. Then Songs for young lovers then Songs for Swinging Lovers. The songs are all masterpieces by master craftesmen and they are interpreted by another master craftesman, Frank Sinatra.If you love Frank Sinatra then all these albums are a must for you. Songs for Young Lovers is just beautiful especially if youve ever been in love. And who of us hasnt? I implore you, buy this AND then the other two AND you get another great offering "Swing Easy" for free. What a bargain
