Perfect travel back pack
I was looking for a compact travel backpack to bring on our first cruise. I looked through way too many products and reviews and tentatively settled on this backpack while maintaining a healthy dose of skepticism. Imagine my surprise when the bag arrived folded neatly within its small square built-in pouch! I unfolded the bag and tried it on my shoulders and was shocked it felt so comfortable and substantial. I scoffed as I removed it, thinking "That's the last time it'll ever be folded up so nicely again" doubting my ability to repackage the thing. I was also incredibly leery of its comfort once I packed it through the many many items I intended to anxiously over-pack. I have to say, and don't tell my husband I ever admitted this, but I was wrong! Not only was the backpack really really comfortable on my shoulders once filled, it was also really well organized and easy to plan what items would go where. I am big on organization so I didn't want a backpack where everything is just lolling about, no rhyme or reason. This backpack has many pockets and items nestle neatly within them. I used it as my carry-on for flights and then throughout the cruise and on excursions. When we got home I steeled myself for the battle of folding it back into its original size and pouch but that was entirely unnecessary. The bag folds up easily and zips perfectly, making it a space-saver when stored! I would definitely buy this again and would recommend it for traveling!

These are AWESOME little packs!
We purchased 3 of these to use this summer for trips to the local theme and water parks. They are perfect size for carrying a beach towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, keys, wallet, phone...all of the things that you need for a day on the go. With the ability to expand the size using the straps, there is more than enough room to pack everything you need for an overnight. We plan to use these as our "Go Bags" when we travel. That way we don't have to carry heavy luggage out of the car into a hotel room for an overnight stay on the road. This bag will easily fit a pair of shorts or pants, a shirt, socks, underwear, and the necessary toiletries...with room left for an IPad or a book. 35L doesn't sound big...but it is plenty big for situations as described above. Lastly...These bags are VERY good quality. The stitching, the straps, the zippers...everything about them exceeds the price. We love the way the bags fold up into a compact package for storage. It really is a pretty ingenious design, and it saves so much room in our closets and drawers. Whenever we need them, we undo 1 zipper, unroll, load, and go. When done, we unpack, roll, zip, and store. Perfect. So please, do not let the cost fool you. These are roomy, quality packs for the money. Like us, you will find them useful for so many different situations. Buy with confidence. Then get outside, and go!

Useful backpack for travel, flimsy for every day use
Loved the packable aspect and how easy this was to actually refold it back up! That feature is probably why l also did not like the bag though bc of how thin/flimsy it had to be to be packable. The shoulder straps were not padded at all nor was the back. Overall l was just looking for a backpack with a bit more structure for travel.

Great bag for traveling!
I purchased two of these bags to travel to Puerto Rico and they were perfect! I bought them for the fact they were waterproof. The straps are wide making it easy on the shoulders. The best feature is that they fold up and then zip shut into a pouch which easily stores in your suitcase! Would definitely recommend for those trips when you have an excursion and need alittle more than just a purse.

Still perfect after 2.5 years
I bought this for an extended trip overseas; I needed something that wouldn't take up any room on a flight, but which would become my main daily carry while I was living abroad. It mainly saw light use, eg a laptop, a couple of books, and a rolled-up jacket, but maybe weekly it would get filled at the supermarket with a pretty heavy load for a 2 mile carry home. TBH I never expected it to last, especially at the price I paid (much less than today's price), but after daily use for 6 months, and occasional use over the next 2 years, it is still in perfect condition.I can't recommend this bag highly enough, though with two provisos: (1) there is no internal padding, so it won't protect delicate equipment (like a laptop) on its own; (2) there is no back or strap padding, so you have to be careful with how you load it to avoid having things dig into your back. Other than that, it is great.

so light, yet holds so much
I love the light weight of this backpack, as I love to pack a lot of of stuff in there, when I travel. This product is made very well, with lots of room provided, by the many pockets that it contains.

Wanted light, but this is maybe Too light
I was needing a bright-color day-pack for travel. It is great when it is lightweight for packing purposes, but when using it - the material and straps are abit flimsy. So just not as comfortable to wear and hard to wrangle when getting in to the bag, it feels like it takes three hands to support/open/retrieve an item . I also do not expect it will age well and feels like the seems are thin. I get it, I did not want a heavy rugged bag that wears you down while touring - but I think this model swings the pendulum too far to the light side. I will sure use this one until it gives out, but would not likely replace with same.
