Fan fit the wine fridge perfectly and runs quietly.

I bought this ball-bearing fan to replace the lamp cooling fan in a video projector. The fan in my projector had just started to squeal and I started looking for the same form-factor (92mm X 92mm X 25mm) but with ball bearings instead of sleeve bearings. This was exactly what was needed. The original fan was a 2-wire fan with a 3-pin plug. This fan is also a 2-wire fan, but it instead had a 2-wire plug, but not to worry. It was a simple job of removing the pins from the original 3-wire plug, removing (without damaging them) the pins from the new 2-wire plug and re-inserting them in the proper configuration, into the old 3-wire plug.The projector is now working properly without any excessive noise or reduction in lamp cooling.

This unit was a welcome find. after searching for a long time it arrived. gratefully the seller gave enough description and specification allowing me to make a decision to purchase. I needed to make a modification bet it was a simple one. I needed to splice the wire instead of using the quick connect of the old set up. The fan is so quiet that I forget it is on.

So, funny story. I installed three of these as replacements in a wine fridge I got off craigslist. The fridge made less noise with the new fans and I thought, "great, what a bargain." Then 35 days went by and the fridge started sounding like a lawnmower and was loud enough I didn't want to be in the same office with it. I bought Noctua fans at $19 a piece to replace these and left an irritated review. When I opened up the fridge, however, it turned out that the noise was not coming from the back side fans that drive heat away, but from the internal fans that try to move cold air around the wine bottles. I had grown a block of ice on one of my peltier coolers and the blades of the fan were rubbing up against it like a baseball card in a bike spoke. It had only sounded like the rear fans were the problem because you could hear the sound loudest out the back of the fridge. Removing the ice and shifting bottles around solved my problem. I am leaving a middle-of-the-road review for what seem like middle quality fans to overwrite my original, mistakenly unfair review. (I did install the noctua fans anyway since I had the fridge apart.)

I looked forward to replacing the fan that quit. I received it & it was easy to change. For some reason it did not work. I had to troble shoot it to figure out what was wrong. The 2 wires in the plug were reversed. The 2 pins would not come out so I had to cut & splice the wires to get them in the right location. It took me a couple hours to figure out what was wrong. After reversing the wires it works good now. Its too bad that quality on new parts is so poor.

The fans shipped quickly and installed easily. Small fans but powerful. Very happy with purchase. We installed these in the upper RV refrigerator exterior compartment to help cool down the camper refrigerator when the boiler gets hot in very hot environments. We will be trying it out next year but so far the fans work as expected and fit into the small compartment and allows the exterior compartment cover to fully close. Very happy so far with this purchase. Next year traveling across the country in summer will tell if they will suffice to cool down the boiler.

I used this fan to replace the fan on my bubble machine (Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088STZW8Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)...the holes lined up and the quick-connector was a perfect fit and correct polarity (the +/- leads were in the right position. Overall: I'd buy again.
