Great quality, great price
Great quality, I wanted to try this & compare to my hand held press. It’s great because there is no waste at all except for what gets stuck in the holes. With my hand held, the thicker outer layer (not the paper peel) doesn’t go through the crusher. This one crushes the whole clove, which is great! Now if I can figure out how to get what’s stuck in the holes (not a lot but I LOVE garlic and don’t want to waste a drop! LOL)It takes a little practice to keep the clove from sliding away from the tool, but I like itanywsy.

This doesn't replace my garlic press.
I had hoped that this would replace my slightly hard to clean garlic press. I doesn't. This is good for removing garlic skins but so is smashing the garlic with the side of a butchers knife. The garlic doesn't press through the holes like it does with a garlic press. I've tried it a few times and I end up either chopping the garlic with a knife or getting out the garlic press. I regret this purchase.

It is very convenient and durable!!
I use the garlic every day in the morning, because I like the noodle and the garlic is the necessary condiment. I use knife before to press the garlic, but it's hardly to make it mashed. I have tried the other press, which is not as easy as Gotega. I like it very much and it makes me easy to make my breakfast.
