Globe-Weis/Pendaflex A-Z Accordion Kraft Expanding Files (1817AE)

Bought this unit to replace a 15-20 year-old file that finally bit the dust. Construction of the new unit is solid and I am using it. However, these thumbcuts are practically useless. They are right behind one another and do not display anything. The old ones were placed alternately and displayed the alphabet letter of the slot. You could easily separate the individual sections of the old file regardless of how few documents (or none) were filed but it is difficult to do so in this one. To paraphrase an old English song: "Bring back, oh, bring back, oh bring back my old file to me, to me."

I was hoping for a more durable product, but being Kraft paper, it's okay and I'll have to make due with these !

This product will meet my needs which I have planned it for. I wish the expansion was a little larger between the letters of the alphabet but the quality of the product is fine.

folder is of good quality. I store paid bills for an entire year. the flaps are about 3/4 in. fully expanded.. some most used letters would be more helpfull at 1 1/4 inch

This little product did the trick! Holds all my important papers in order and nice 'n safe! I remember as a kid, my Mom had several of these, that's why I ordered a couple..and guess what? Terrific price, easy to order, arrived in a timely manner, and it's exactly what I needed! Thank you!!

Item came damaged will multiple dents around the lining which will likely get worse as time goes on. Very unsatisfied. Would return but it's too much of a hassle. Would not recommend unless you are okay with taking the time to return it.

A little flimsy. Not very well made

If you desk and papers are a mess this is the file for you. Very pleased with this expandable file, no more lost papers heavy weight to. Package nicely, arrived on time perfect !
