I have been vegetarian for about 5 years. As I am vegetarian , supplements are a huge part of my routine. I take alot of different vitamins and minerals in the form of a supplement so I like to think I know when I have come across a good, decent one. I started taking these capsules because I was recommended to take a daily dose of vitamin c as I suffer with high blood pressure. Finding a good one really is important. Vitamin c works wonders on so many aspects of your life that many people aren't aware of. Suffering with high blood pressure, I wanted to find a natural way to try to lower it rather than taking prescription drugs. The ascorbic acid works to lower my blood pressure by acting as a diuretic, removing excess fluid from any ones body. This helps to lower the pressure in our blood vessels. When I first started taking these, my day to day routine wasn't affected as it takes less than a minute to get water and take one. there really isn't any reason anyone should not be taking these. They are small pills and I find them very easy to take and swallow. They have no bad taste either! 1000mg is a great amount and honestly I'm starting to feel better, less head aches too! It's great and comforting to know that by doing something so small I am helping by body massively. It also has extra benefits and for me that's a big thing. Helping to build my immune system is a great bonus for me as its also very important to help keep that healthy especially if you, like me, suffer from other health issues. I'm so happy I found this product and will continue to take it. I feel like its not an issue to have to remember to take them either which can be stressful trying to remember something when everyones days can be hectic. Anyway, it's a brilliant product and definitely worth a try!

Good tablets but a bit big and pricy

the size of this pack is good value for money, one tub is about a six month supply,tablet size is about the same as a large paracetamol capsule so not too big and easy to swallow,i did try popping one in my mouth and keeping it there for a minute just to see how it tasted and i'll be honest, this isn't a lovely fresh orange tasting vitamin tablet but then it is not sold as a chewable tablet, but if you are just chucking it down your neck then you wont get any taste from it and i got no after taste when taking it normally,over all i am happy with this product and would recommend it

About two months ago I went to the doctors complaining of headaches and they suggested I go to my opticians and get my eyes -retested. When I went to my Specsaver appointment, I just thought I would be told I needed a new prescription as per usual as I am getting older and I know my eyes are not what they used to be. However, they also commented on my eyes being weak and suggested I take vitamin c supplements daily. When I read up about this, vitamin tablets can help. They reduce the risk of macular degeneration which is something I never thought of. I started of thinking that if I take vitamin c I would see how this goes. From there, I searched up and went to find a good one. I then came across this supplement. I saw the high dose and decided to go ahead. since taking these I noticed they were easy to take as they were small and taste-less. I have now been taking them for over a month. My headaches have literally vanished, my immune system must be thanking me as another benefit of these pills is that they help to create a good healthy immune system. Another thing I noticed was that they contained a good amount of ascorbic acid which I didnt realised was so good for you. They say 500mg is the lowest that is good for you. These, at 1000mg, have twice the strength which I think is absolutely fantastic and is probably one of the reasons I like taking them. Day to oday, these are a very easy tablet to take, an important tablet to take that helps every inch of you as it's an all- round important vitamin anyway. If you're worried at all about your eye health, these are respectively cheap and with how easy they are to take, I would 100 percent give these a try. A try can't hurt and you will be so happy you did! I certainly am.

Good price for amount of tablets and only need to take one to achieve 1000mgThe main downside for me is these are hard to swallow. I’m used to taking tablets much bigger than these with no issues. I think it might be the shape of them which makes it difficult.No smell, smooth texture and overall seem good quality.
